I am a Qualified Holistic Therapist who obtained my Reflexology Diploma in 2001, I am a specialist in Fertility and Pregnancy Reflexology, Menopausal Reflexology, Reflexology in Cancer Care and Reflexology for Additional Needs.

I further extended my studies to include Indian Head Massage and am a Reiki Master.

 

I have qualified as a Meditation Teacher and host meditation classes and I incorporate this into my treatments for the benefit of my clients. 

​

I am a Reiki Master and teach and attune ohers to Reiki.

​

I have recently been accredited by NRRI to teach professional reflexology, which I am very excited about.

​

I am a Children's Book Author, specifically focusing on wellness, I have currently two books in publication, Grateful Grainne, which focuses on the very powerful practice of using gratitude in our lives. My second book is a celebration of difference, Amazing Austin which shows my own fantastic experience of having an uncle with down Syndrome. Grateful Grainne made it to the last ten in Penelope's Prize as Readers Favourite. I have donated to charities part of the sales of both these books. I have more books in the series with other very powerful messages.

My own personal amazing success with Reflexology is that before just commencing training I was after being diagnosed with endometriosis. I also got alot of kidney infections. The endometriosis diagnosis was as a result of having very heavy and painful periods each month. My treatment suggestion was surgery or go on the contraceptive pill. The pill had not worked for me as a solution before and surgery seemed only temporary as I was told there would be a possibility of happening again and again and this really didn't appeal to me. Having endometriosis meant infertility and struggling to conceive was a real possibility. I didn't overly concentrate on this as I was young and not thinking of children at that moment. However, one year later after having regular training reflexology treatments to my surprise and delight I discovered I was pregnant. I now have four boys.

My kidney infections also disappeared-from having one every few weeks with regular antiobiotic treatment, I didn't get any kidney infections -this blew my mind as it happened so gently -they stopped. I was meant to do Reflexology and this was my proof.

​

I am a busy mum of four and incorporate my therapies in successfully treating my children for various ailments from asthma, sinus, sleeplessness etc-they are devotees! Children are so receptive to treatments and they enjoy the treatments at any age from babies to teenagers.

​

Prior to being an holistic therapist I worked in the Financial sector-seven days a week for sustained period of time!- so I completely understand the stress and pressure that people experience and how this can negatively affect the body, mind and soul. My experience to date as a therapist has created a strong belief in the vital importance of complimentary medicine, with emphasis on looking at each person individually and with a holistic approach.

Thankfully the Health Insurance Companies are recognising the significant positive impact holistic therapy is having on clients' health and well being and depending on your plan, fees can be claimed back from most private health insurers.
